This is a compilation we will be releasing in early 2013. We’re trying to do something like Soundbombing 2 or Fat Music for Fat people. Not to be presumptuous and speak to the impact of this release, but we hope that it will have the same kind of vitality and encapsulating totality. We hope that it will help folks to see that there is something very special happening in rap music in the United States right now. There are a lot of creative people taking stock of the circumstances, and the opportunities, and trying to find new ways to exist and define what it means to be American. They all share similar, but diverse influences, and they have all come up with something that is uniquely spirited and masterfully crafted.
